I think there’s something magical about getting to know someone and having that connection, and I breathe that into my photos. I'm all about capturing personalities and special moments, those photos are just more real and memorable. I've photographed many families, seniors and other portraits in the Fox Valley Area and have accumulated a steady 5/5 star review over the years.
I've been a professional photographer for over 10 years and have been in the photography industry for more than 15 years. I've worked on various projects including portraits, a traveling exhibition of my trip to Alaska, and have even started a book. And I've been published numerous times in global magazines.

We spend a lot of time playing board games, venturing outdoors and going on road trips. We are very intentional with our time together, because each day is a gift and we want to live it as such.

I have traveled to many places all over the world, and I am always planning the next big adventure!
I actually traveled my very first trip alone when I was 21 years old to Alaska. Ever since, I have had a strong desire to visit more places. Since then I have gone back to Alaska, went to Italy, Denmark, Canada, Colorado, the Smoky Mountains, Maine and many places in between.
I am drawn to visiting non-touristy locations (although sometimes you have to do touristy things while on vacay). And honestly the best part of traveling is probably the food.

I am obsessed with coffee! I love spending a few minutes alone each morning drinking my coffee and just relaxing. In the summer, I love having my coffee on the porch and watching the sunrise.
My favorite thing to pair with a cup of java is a cannoli. And it can't just be any cannoli because my trips to Italy have spoiled me rotten. If you haven't had an authentic cannoli yet, you need to! It will change your life forever.

I love, no no... I'm obsessed with sunflowers! I love spending time in my garden and with my flowers. I usually plant 6-10 different types of sunflowers each year. My favorite color is yellow and so it only seems right that I chose the happiest yellow flower I know, the sunflower, as my favorite. But not only that, they remind me of my Grandma Bonnie. She has always loved sunflowers and every time I see them I think of her.

I have a twin, Holly, and we're BEST FRIENDS! Even though we live kinda far apart, we still are super close. She is my rock and has been my best friend from day one. I'm super blessed to have her for a sister. We don't have any of those super cool twin powers, but we do make each other laugh a whole lot.

If you know me at all, you know that I could eat ice cream every day for breakfast. I once had an ice cream contest with my grandpa to see who could eat more ice cream cake. We ended up tying and had terrible belly aches, but it was worth it.
One of my favorite kinds of ice cream is Ben & Jerry's. I took a tour of the factory in Vermont. At the end they gave me two samples of ice cream and after I finished those, I went to the gift shop and bought another scoop. Because I can't get enough.

I wanted something unique for my senior pictures. Door County is my family’s happy place and I was obsessed with the idea of doing my senior pictures there. We found Ashley online and loved her pictures and vibe. She was awesome with communication and constantly in touch with us during the weeks leading up, so we could make this exactly what I wanted. She loved the idea of Door County and was going to be there at the same time. It was meant to be! During the shoot, she was super helpful with poses and getting me out of my comfort zone to get amazing shots. She even got in the water with me waist deep for some of my pictures! It was overall an incredible experience, and the pictures were everything I could have asked for!

She was easy-going, made me feel confident throughout the shoot, (would even show glimpses of what she captured on her camera during our session), and just so sweet & fun! I never realized how important family pictures were to me until I had a family of my own. Better yet is having an amazing photographer, Ashley, to capture those moments! Having Ashley photograph my senior pictures was the best decision ever! She made me feel so comfortable throughout the entire night and picked the cutest location!
I hired Ashley after seeing her on Instagram for an extended family photo shoot. I was a little nervous because I wasn’t sure how all the kids would act or handle being photographed but Ashley was amazing. She played games with the kids which allowed for her to capture our families personalities so previously. The kids had a blast and the photos turned out amazing! I couldn’t have been happier with the whole experience.
