Dancing Bear is a wonderful whimsical toy store that offers a wide variety of products for all ages and has been around since 1994. This family-owned store is full of life and love and aims to give a unique in-store shopping experience.
Owner, Bonnie, works in the store with her husband, Dennis, who runs all of the behind-the-scenes tasks of the shop. Bonnie is only in a few days of the week, so she has a few store associates to help out (Terie, Paula, Anne, and Zeb) as well as her books and accounting manager, Cathy.
Dancing Bear can be found in the historic downtown Sturgeon Bay, right in the heart of Door County at 13 N. 3rd Ave.

Dancing Bear offers a variety of items such as books, furnishings, gifts, toys, and so much more.

Dancing Bear also carries a few other products, not for humans, since they feature their furry friends at the store. You can grab a few pet items from Dancing Bear, including catnip, cat toys, cat and dog treats, and dog toys.

Dancing Bear is a unique store that features a few weekly visitors, the two store dogs, Wizard and Geisha, who are excited to greet and interact with customers. The shop even has its own shop cats as well! What’s better than going into a toy boutique shop and being greeted by cute furry faces? Nothing!
Dancing Bear also hosts many events like game nights, trivia, and more. While they are a traditional toy store, you can view its catalog and products on its online website. Dancing Bear also offers curbside pickup, but they encourage you to come inside to get the full experience.
