About The Puddle Duck
This women and family-owned business was founded in 1986 but was purchased by two sisters, Linda Bohun and Connie Gleason, in the early 1990s. They were determined to succeed and better provide their community with more options. Therefore, they moved locations from Downtown Green Bay to the Lee Building in De Pere. Changing areas allowed them to expand their children’s baby and gift store with a wider variety of products while adding women’s apparel to their merchandise. They built a solid reputation for being the go-to store for unique finds.
Linda Bohun’s daughter, Kristy Bohun, grew up within the store’s walls. She has many precious memories of watching and helping her mother and Aunt cultivate new products for their store. As she got older, it was clear that she wanted to run this store just as they did. After college, she set out to work as a merchandise analyst for a major department store chain, as a buyer, work with overseas vendors, develop floor plans and become a product manager. When she made her way back home with success under her belt, her mother and Aunt were looking to retire. She couldn’t believe her dream would be coming true. She is devoted to bringing the same high-quality, unique products they did while continuing to stay in the loop with lasting classics and new trendy items.
