Serving over 45,000 visitors annually, on-site and at community events, the Children’s Museum of Fond du Lac prioritizes providing a safe place for all children to learn.
It focuses on its mission to support childhood development by utilizing programs and exhibits that engage children in learning through play and engage their caregivers and community too.
The Children’s Museum of Fond du Lac supports development, engages everyone, fosters respect and trust, encourages open communication, embraces strengths, inspires lifelong learning, and, most importantly, celebrates childhood by promoting play.
The Children’s Museum offers a variety of exhibits and programs, including programs you can engage with at home.

Fond du Lac Community Theatre
Fond du Lac Community Theatre is located at 250 W. 9th Street and has a long history; founded in 1958. The original founding members had a vision paired with dedication, bringing the community theatre to life.
Starting with a meager beginning and little space as ideas and visions grew, the start of the community theatre relied on members storing props and such at their homes and bringing them back to use during shows.
In the 60s, the community theatre’s rehearsals and performances were held at Roosevelt Jr High, YMCA, Chegwin, and Parkside schools.
Today, the community theatre uses spaces provided by the Fond du Lac School District and Goodrich Little Theatre. The Fond du Lac Community Theatre did not originally include musicals, but you can now find them on the playbill annually!
